Dirty Dines Part 2
A feast of youthful fun & food frolic.
Remember those carefree days of laughing with food all over our faces? Dirty Dines is here to bring back that joy, but with a twist: adults are now joining the food-filled party!
The essence of the shoot.
Dirty Dines was more than just a photoshoot, it was a celebration of pure joy and delight. A vibrant gathering of folks enjoying company, embracing diversity, and delighting in the messy goodness of classic comfort foods. Those nostalgic dishes we can't resist, even if we know we’re going to wear a bit of them by the end!
From youthful whimsy to adult antics.
While Dirty Dines Part I reveled in teenage fun, Part II upped the ante with adults letting their hair down. Think of it as a playful potluck, but jazzed up with grown-up vibes. The key element? Embracing that inner child that just wants to relish the meal without a care in the world.
Our fab four: adults with appetite for adventure.
Let's spotlight the adult stars. Each with their own zest and flair, making the shoot lively and memorable. Their portraits? A delightful mix of refined poise and youthful glee, complete with traces of their favorite dishes!
The mood: a vivid foodie wonderland.
The backdrop was nothing short of a carnival of colors. A blend of brightness and merriment, setting the stage for an unforgettable dinner party.
The dream team: crafting the magic.
Big kudos to the wizards behind the scenes. Our makeup expert, Perryn Morris turned heads by ingeniously integrating actual food, like spaghetti sauce and hot wing sauce, into his work.
The hairstyles? Perfectly curated by Angenae Ward Taylor to reflect each personality, adding flair and finesse to the mix. And the outfits? Crafted with creativity, harmonizing with the vibrant food theme and backdrop by Danielle Wood.
Enter the photographic maestro, Kate Grewal. Kate’s artistry with the camera was nothing short of poetic. Her knack for capturing personalities shoe through every frame, making the subjects leap out with life and vitality. The lighting and mood she crafted seamlessly knitted together all the elements of the shoot. And the best part? Kate’s unique photographic style was a match made in heaven with the entire Dirty Dines concept. Every click of her camera seemed to echo the very soul of the project.
And last but definitely not least, very special nod to our art director and prop maven, Giulietta Pinna along with her talented partner in crime, Nate, they transformed our brainstorming sessions into a tangible, spirited setup at their studio and prop house, the Prop Up Shop. What they came up with was a dream come true.
Celebrating life, laughter, & messy eats.
Dirty Dines wasn’t just about pictures; it was a journey into joy, food, and unabashed fun. Being part of the styling team was an exhilarating ride, and I couldn’t be prouder of the result.
So here's to cherishing those light-hearted moments and digging into our meals with gusto and glee!
